Ecstatic Dance - Orewa

Ecstatic Dance is a Wave Dance. It starts slow & melodic, builds to an ecstatic peak and comes back down.  This is therapeutic for the body, releases blockages and allows you to go through a journey and process.  Ecstatic dance is a form of dance in which the dancers, experience Freedom. Without the need to follow specific steps and abandon themselves to the rhythm and move freely as the music takes them, leading to trance and a feeling of ecstasy.  DJ Kimba Jade loves to bring in all her experience to create a unique Ecstatic Dance to move you!

What to Bring: 

1. Loose-fitting clothes that let you move your body and free yourself

2. Warm clothes to put on afterwards

3. A friend! Nothing better than letting loose in good company.  

Ecstatic Dance is a Drug & Alcohol Free Space. - Please, no talking on the dance floor - No phones/ cameras are allowed - Respect the Space (which includes no Shoes, Booze, Phones, Perfumes, and each other's Space)  

About DJ Kimba Jade: Kimba Jade is a DJ, Kinesiologist and Sentaura Healing Practitioner. Her passion is music, exploring sound, its healing benefits and ecstatic dance!  Kimba has been spinning tunes for the past 20 years. Her sets infuse oriental, tribal and ethnic tunes. Kimba is an international performer and her passion to run energy infused with dance workshops has seen her at festivals and ecstatic dance events in NZ, Australia, Europe and the USA.  Kimba loves to teach and run DJ Ecstatic Dance Facilitator Trainings and one-on-one DJ Lessons.
